INFORMATION

Cuerama Project is the first social responsibility project implemented by the Cuerama Foundation, dedicated to the sustainability of rural areas, in Aldeia Cuerama, 356 km southeast of Luanda, Province of Cuanza Sul, in Angola. Due to the huge repercussions of 41 years of war (colonial followed by civil war) in Angola, local communities have been completely forgotten until today. After the Angolan civil war, an Angolan family found gaps in Aldeia Cuerama, such as lack of access to basic education, hygiene care, health care in general and sanitation. In order to create a network of partnerships necessary for the implementation of its objectives, the following partnership was established between Angola and Portugal.
